An Unforgettable Stay with Warm Hospitality!

We stayed for two nights and were delighted by the spacious room and comfortable beds. The outdoor patio was perfect for relaxing evenings, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Pro tip, enjoy the delicious meals at the onsite steakhouse for a delightful dining experience!

Solo traveler with mixed feelings

The people working at this hotel are fantastic! I mean, they really care about you, especially Yvonne at the front desk. Then there was this bartender, John (who really knew his stuff), and the food was surprisingly good. Honestly, I was shocked by the hot cooked breakfast, didn’t expect that at all, it felt more like home than a hotel.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, that’s for sure.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was clean and had decent space. The climate control worked well and there were blackout curtains, which helped with sleep. The bathroom was nice too. But man, the noise from the other rooms was something else. I woke up multiple times due to loud footsteps and conversations. It really disrupted my sleep. So, while the room looked good and had some nice features, the noise factor was a big downside.

the hotel had an excellent location with tasty restaurants like the Plate d'Azure just steps away and nearby Merli Sarnoski Park offering beautiful views, making it perfect for a weekend city stroll.

Charming stay in a quiet town

Stopped in Carbondale on my way to the Skeanatles. Easy check-in even though I showed up late. The town's super charming and peaceful at night. They really honor their history and veterans. The steakhouse food was on point! Just bummed I missed breakfast after sleeping in too late.

I absolutely loved the elegant decor and high ceilings of Hotel Anthracite. The spacious areas were well-suited for seniors with easy access to amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable.

More accessible seating in common areas would help.

Clean, spacious rooms with nice amenities like a coffee machine and microwave. The air conditioning kept us comfy. Breakfast was nice, with fresh fruits and good coffee. We loved the private courtyard for relaxing outdoors. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, even when we traveled with our dog.

A cozy retreat despite noise

The location is wonderful, and the covered parking was a huge plus! The hotel was lovely, with a fantastic breakfast that we all enjoyed.

Unfortunately, the walls were too thin, and we could hear every noise from the adjacent room, which interrupted our sleep.
